~ Flea Market ~
Friday & Saturday, March 26 & 27, 2010
The flea market starts at 8AM Friday morning.
With our now famous and much copied,
"Lemans Start"

All of us on the conference committee work hard trying to make this a fun and enjoyable event for everyone attending.  In order to have organization for such a large event, it is necessary to have rules.
To be fair to ALL the attendees
our primary rule (which we instated more than 17 years ago) is,
"No Buying, Selling, Trading or DISPLAYING of any merchandise
before 8AM on Friday".
As in the past, we will strictly enforce this rule.  It is for your benefit, not ours.
You may setup tables but no goods for sale may be on display.  Commercial dealers selling replacement parts may setup tables, but goods must remain covered, out of sight until 8 AM.
If this rule is violated, you will get ONE warning.  If the warning is not heeded, your registration fees and flea market fees will be refunded and you will be asked to leave the event.
Unfortunately, we have had to exercise this in the past and will continue to do so.  Acceptance of a flea market vendor pass constitutes your agreement to abide by these terms and conditions.
Submission of a Pre-Registration form constitutes your agreement
to abide by this rule.

There will be flea market tables for rent at the Registration Tent on Friday & Saturday morning,
$5 per table, per day.
The tables are about 24" wide by 72" long.

Again this year there will be a food cart located at the Registration Tent serving breakfast and
lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.

Contingency Plan for bad weather

In 2009 we proved that our contingency plan for rain would work.
We moved the entire flea market inside the hotel.
We rented 125 8' tables and had them spread all through
the conference area of the hotel.
It worked so good a number of our attendees asked
if we could just have the flea market inside all the time.
While we don't plan to do that, we now know without
a doubt that we can state that;
WE WILL NOT BE RAINED OUT,
THE SHOW WILL GO ON ! ! !

WOW! Just look at all those radios ! ! !

Along with all the normal events that take place at the Charlotte  Conference, this year we will be auctioning the collection of museum  quality, rare collectible radios and accessories that belonged to our  dear friend Ernie Hite WB4KFL.

The Sheraton is ready to start taking reservations for the 2010 Charlotte Conference.
You just need to say "March 25-27 2010" & "Antique Wireless"
and you'll get the conference rate of $87 per night.
Which is pretty good since the normal room rate there is $199.

If you should have any problems, please call the Sheraton directly and ask for Brandon Derrick the sales manage at extension #150.
